The Rudow country house estate was created in the 80s of the last century. At that time, about 700 trees were planted. After a good 30 years now, there are around 1200 trees. In addition, the demands on the spatial distribution as well as on sustainable maintenance have changed over the years. For this reason, a development concept was drawn up and appropriate measures implemented. The tree population, the division of space as well as certain infrastructural components were revised in order to guarantee outdoor facilities that can be managed sustainably and meet tenant requirements in the coming decades. One of the main focuses was the felling of large trees, mainly poplars, which were at risk of wind breakage. The compensatory plantings fit into the development concept. A total of 43 new trees will be planted to gradually upgrade the tree population.
