Various energy landscape concepts were visualized as a contribution to the 2007 "Energy Land Lusatia" theme year. The depictions illustrate various models of future land use through the cultivation of biomass in the former open-cast mining area. They show, among other things, use as a high-tech agricultural production landscape through intensive monoculture agriculture, as well as use through intensive forestry. Another presentation shows a multifunctional energy landscape in which a variety of regenerative energies are combined in one area. The cultivation of rich biomass plants such as sea buckthorn, evening primrose, willow and rye is shown in combination with solar energy technology and wind power generation.
