Promenade and bus station Weißenfels

Weißenfels has set itself the goal of strengthening the city center as a vital center for the city and the region. The aim is to restore the historic urban structures and close gaps between buildings.



As an important open space close to the center, the Promenade Weißenfels will form a continuous green bridge between the train station and the Schlossberg.



First, the central bus station was relocated and redesigned. It now blends into the historic center with an artistically designed canopy and high-quality furnishings.



The promenade was then designed as a continuous green bridge between the station and the Schlossberg. A fountain forms the lively center of the area.
