Pulse road Design of the outdoor facilities of a new residential building

The two residential buildings with the central low-rise building form a south-facing open

courtyard situation above the underground parking garage. The inner courtyard between the buildings creates a meeting and recreation zone for the residents. To the sides and especially to the north, the garden takes on a park-like character: the abundance of trees and the immediate proximity to Charlottenburg Palace Park characterize the image.



Parking spaces for cars are provided exclusively in the underground car park, so that the entire site is free of motorized traffic.



A covered pergola construction was planned above the ramp to the underground parking garage, in which the waste collection area is integrated into the design.



For the first floor apartments, loggias with adjoining tenants' gardens were offered, which are screened off with deciduous hedges. The remaining open spaces can be used by all residents and are accessed via a surrounding garden path or stepping stones. In the inner courtyard there are seating areas, a play area for small children and a table tennis table. To the north of the buildings, partly below the dense tree population, is the playground for older children - the dominant theme is "climbing".



The rainwater from the new buildings is drained into infiltration troughs.
