The concept of the neighborhood follows the idea of creating sustainable living space for a lively coexistence of generations. With life-affirming architecture; with a balanced ratio of meeting and retreat spaces.
In the main axis, the neighborhood will not only have parking spaces, but also a neighborhood square with seating. As semi-public green spaces, the areas on the planned half garages of building blocks 1-3 can also be used by residents. Due to their elevated position, the areas have the character of an inner courtyard for the blocks, but remain freely accessible from the outside via a staircase.
With the decreasing density of the buildings to the west and the new open spaces, the quarter opens up to the existing park. The focus is on the permeable connection between the new quarter and its surroundings. The open spaces, which are divided into public, semi-public and private areas, offer residents a high level of added value. The main axes in the quarter are used as publicly accessible open spaces not only for access and individual visitor parking spaces, but also as easily usable recreational areas. The district square forms the central hub. The communal open spaces are slightly elevated on the green roofs of the half garages. Due to their elevated position, the gardens have a more private inner courtyard character, but are still freely accessible from the outside via a staircase. Directly in front of the ground-floor apartments are private terraces bordered by a hedge.
