The kindergarten grounds on Dresden's Kottmarstraße, which are characterized by large forest trees, were extremely worn, bare and had dilapidated wooden equipment after the Corona period. We renovated and redesigned the play area with its very small-scale hilly landscape, climbing mountains, play corners, curved paths and walls as well as attractive play equipment.
Many native shrubs, grasses and perennials were planted and typical forest floor herbs were sown. Hopefully some of these will germinate and grow over the next few years and close the gaps between the shrubs. It is helpful to mark out the initially sparsely overgrown planting beds with a border of posts and rope.
