Design of the outdoor facilities at the Sonnenschein children's house



Behind this kindergarten is a coherent and modern overall concept, which promotes the free development of young children as its primary concern
.


The plan for the design of the outdoor facilities was developed based on the needs of the little personalities.




The concept is based on the situation-oriented approach, which focuses on the needs and developmental stage of the children. Independence and independent action should be encouraged in order to prepare the children for everyday situations and to strengthen them.



The children's house has also been awarded the BeKi seal (conscious child nutrition). The joy of eating and the desire to do it yourself are part of the overall concept of the house. The children grow their own fruit, vegetables and herbs in raised beds. They take responsibility.



The children are allowed to explore the garden through their own activities, which serve as their motor, and can develop freely and individually here.



The outdoor facilities are divided into five areas:



1. the entrance area with bicycle parking spaces, paved area and generous planting areas with grasses and meadow seeding, tree islands



2nd street area with grass paved parking spaces, surrounded by a flower meadow



3rd area for children under 3 with a sandpit covered with a sun sail, a bird's nest swing, a toddler slide, balancing beams and a playhouse



4th area for everyone with willow tepees, fire pit, raised beds, berry bushes, insect hotels and space to build works of art



5th area for children over 3 with sand and mud area and watercourse, seating steps, floor trampolines, swing, long slope slide, climbing and adventure house
