With the redesign of the site, the identity of the location was equally preserved and given a new character. Distinctive elements of the former use were preserved and integrated into a landscaped site. The addition of new elements makes it a unique place with a special atmosphere for recreational and leisure use.
The area of the new landscaped park is limited to the core area of the outdoor pool facility, a clearing enclosed by tall and dense pine forest. Similar to a passe-partout, the area was punched out and marked by a wide path. Within the path, the former sunbathing lawn was preserved and planted with fruit trees. By planting regional, historic fruit tree varieties, a piece of lost cultural landscape was restored and preserved for future generations. In the middle of the garden an experience area is carefully inserted. Various old and new objects with the theme of water can be discovered and played with. The almost completely filled swimming pools also offer space for sport and play.
South of the large meadow, nature will reclaim its place. On a narrow strip of various existing and newly created fields, natural succession will be promoted in an exemplary manner.
