As in the modern Italian garden, the terrace stands here as the central element of the garden. Rows of trees integrated into the planting area form a closure to the open garden space. The transition to the lower-lying, open parterre garden takes place through projections and recesses in the terrace space. The materials used live exclusively through colour nuances and surface structure.
