The public green spaces in the 4th construction phase not only play a central role within the Ackermannbogen quarter, they are also an important component of the open space system of Munich's northern city centre, because the main route between the important local recreation areas of the Olympic Park and the English Garden runs through the planning area. In addition, the area forms the new centre of the neighbouring public neighbourhood green spaces.

Places with special uses are integrated into the area of the green corridor. For example, a generous plaza area spans between the buildings of GWG, Gewofag and Wagnis eG. It provides a connection between the northern and southern quarters - for crossing buses as well as for cyclists and pedestrians. It opens up to the front areas of the buildings and integrates the outdoor bar areas of the gastronomy as well as the access to the supermarket into the square space. Next to the wooden benches of the green corridor, a curved seating wall surrounds a water feature flush with the pavement. On warm summer days, children jump between the small fountains and water jets.
