At the rapidly developing commercial site on the Phoenixhof in Bahrenfeld, the newly constructed office building "Landmark 7" lives up to its name and marks its location in a way that is visible from afar.
The design of the outdoor areas in the courtyard emphasizes the reference to the extraordinary building with the selective placement of solitary trees. On the roof terraces of the new building, two further striking topiaries rise, each accompanied by lush feather grass.
The materials used in the outdoor space were selected in reference to the industrial history of the site, where metal was once processed. Beds edged in corten steel flank the paved driveway and central plaza, where a water feature has been created. Seating under the trees underscores the quality of the office campus.
The "Phoenixkontor 1" office complex, also newly built here, complements the ensemble of buildings on the historic industrial site and directs the view in its alignment to Landmark 7. Small courtyards and terraces of the Phoenixkontor were designed with a clear, linear look and make reference to the architectural design language.
