Restoration of the green space Köllnischer Park according to preservation requirements in Berlin

The green space, which was created in the 18th and 19th centuries on the site of former fortress buildings, has been redesigned several times since its creation. The last redesign took place in 1970 by the Grünflächenamt Mitte. In the process, the green areas were transformed into level lawns with single trees.
The goals of the redesign were the renewal of the paths and the path connections, the renovation of the sculpture terrace with barrier-free accessibility and the restoration of the existing sculptures and spolia, as well as the terracotta fountain including the fountain technology, the renewal of the vegetation areas and the expansion of the play area.
