Bad Lippspringe will host the State Horticultural Show 2017.

The concept for the next NRW State Horticultural Show 2017, developed under the leadership of Bimberg Landschaftsarchitekten in collaboration with Prof.H.W.Hallmann and Locodrom Landschaftsarchitekten, Berlin, and the preparation of the presentation to an independent evaluation commission in Bad Lippspringe were successful.
Bad Lippspringe was able to prevail against 4 other cities, because the garden show is, according to the assessment of the commission, exactly the right instrument to tackle the diverse urban development tasks of the spa.

"The concept is sustainable, innovative and convincing" announced Minister Remmel. It has finally been awarded as the most convincing overall package.

For the first time, a state horticultural show will then take place in the forest in 2017.

Prerequisite for the success of the feasibility study and the award by the state government was the intensive dialogue with the citizens of Bad Lippspringen in advance and the impressive acceptance of the planning by the local people.
The population was comprehensively informed about every step in the process of urban development in preparatory talks and workshops, decisions and interdependencies were disclosed and interest groups, associations and relevant stakeholders were actively involved in the application: as performers at venues on the presentation day, in the ongoing project support and through continuous project information and site tours, the citizens of Bad Lippspringe are repeatedly given the opportunity to participate in the redevelopment of their city.

The horticultural show concept will be implemented by the sinai office following a competition.
