The Sorpesee in Sundern-Langscheid is traditionally an important tourist destination in the Sauerland. To secure and increase its attractiveness, the public space was fundamentally restructured on a length of about 500 m between the Sorpedamm and the Kurpark.
Prerequisite was the reconstruction of the L 687 including new routing. By the plant of the Sorpegärten, varied play and movement offers for all generations, playable fountains and an event stage with amphitheater, a contemporary leisure facility has been created.
The entire area is accessible despite height differences of up to 12.00 m barrier-free.
