The State Garden Show 2002 is part of a newly developing urban district, the Scharnhauser Park, in the immediate vicinity of Stuttgart. The typical field landscape of the Fildern was the inspiration for the design of the show area. The result is a mosaic of individual fields that come together to form a garden collage. All conceptual parts were realized. After the temporary garden show area was deconstructed, the new residential area and the commercial areas were created.
