In the Unterer Neckar area in Heilbronn, a technology park for development and research-oriented companies will be built in the next few years. The development of the area will take place in several sections.
One object is the solitary office tower. The open-air facilities support the solitary character of the high-rise building: from street level, a generous square leads to the main entrance. To the side - accompanied by a curved wall - is the entrance to the terrace of the restaurant.
In relation to the tower, a newly planted large tree over 12 m high stands on the forecourt, which provides an appropriate spatial structure and dimensioning from the outset. From the visitor's perspective, it serves as a meeting and seating area.
Viewed from the nearby banks of the Neckar, a differentiated, extensive greenery embraces the building and the restaurant terrace. It consists of grasses, ground covers and evergreen shrubs and can also be perceived as a graphic ornament from the roof of the WTZ III. The lightly modelled green areas are covered with native willow trees suitable for the location, which will gradually make up the typical riverside character of the Wohlgelegen.
Working and feeling good in green surroundings becomes a reality through the open relationship to the future BUGA shore.
Events of all kinds can be held on the forecourt. The areas are passable for large vehicles and equipped with the necessary infrastructure.
