For the prefabricated housing area in the south-east of Dresden, limited funding was available for a larger area under consideration. A perceptible effect for the upgrading was seen in connecting strategies and the site-specific application of design focal points.
Starting from the watercourse of the Koitschgraben, a new path connection brings together the structural large-scale forms. Hedges clearly assign the diffuse front zones to the buildings and playful uses mark access points to the courtyards. Existing playground equipment is refurbished, supplemented with new parts and completely new playground equipment.
