The playground is located on Else-Lasker-Schüler-Straße. It is named after an avant-garde poet and draughtswoman (1869 to 1945) who was known for her tolerance and inventiveness and whose stories were set in dream worlds.

Inspired by her poems, the aim is to create a modern, abstract fantasy world that challenges creativity and leaves visitors free to invent new stories themselves. The connecting elements are colorful, elliptical shapes that make the playground an individual and artistic place.

The play ellipses are intended to create new, innovative offers that represent a special sporting challenge. They are modeled on the competition courses popular with children and young people, such as Ninja Warrior.
