The landscape architecture office Linke Kerling was founded on 01.09.2001 as a GbR. Both office owners have over 25 years of professional experience and are registered as landscape architects as well as urban planners in the Bavarian Chamber of Architects. The office is located in the city center of Landshut. Since December 2017, we work six in the team of graduate engineers and bachelor.
We also like to allow working students or interns, mostly University of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, specializing in landscape planning or urban planning, an insight into the professional field.
The office Linke Kerling can draw on a now nineteen years of experience in the field of open space planning, urban planning and landscape planning.
In the area of the open space planning the current emphasis is in the range of Kinderkrippen, school open spaces and housing estates, in particular also in the range of cared for living, as well as external plants for commercial enterprises, road and place designs and a bath lake with leisure area. Our office can guarantee here the treatment of the achievement phases 1 - 9.
Town planning projects count apart from competitions (local center Furth 2006) v. a. land-use planning on the levels land-use and development plan. Here, the bandwidth ranges from concentration zones for wind power plants or mobile phone systems, special areas for open-space photovoltaic plants, golf courses or large-scale retail projects to residential areas and commercial and industrial zones. We are also happy to take on further services up to municipal compensation area concepts / eco-accounts, support with urban development contracts and easements. Here, the processing often takes place in interdisciplinary teams of various disciplines, as recently in an integrated local development concept (IOEK).
In the field of landscape planning, in addition to several landscape plans with over 5,000 hectares of mapped area, diverse projects on ecological watercourse development / watercourse maintenance / WFD, furthermore mining plans, especially gravel pits, landscape conservation planning, e.g. for DB projects, and biotope design measures are to be mentioned. Here, intensive citizen participation and consultation with farmers are regularly part of the planning services. In recent years, we have been able to deal with hydromorphological issues in a wide variety of ways in the context of implementing watercourse development plans, site management for watercourse maintenance measures and ecological site management for flood retention measures. For species protection issues, we work with experienced animal ecologists in the team.
In addition, our office has been certified as a commercial eco-account operator together with a commercial partner since mid-2015.
