The planning office exists since 1984 (until 2002 under the name Bielefeld Gillich, since 1.1.2010 as a GmbH) and handles the entire spectrum of environmental and open space planning from environmental impact studies to landscape planning and care and development plans to object planning.

We combine professional competence and personal, trusting cooperation with our private and public clients and the responsible authorities.

The aim of our planning work is the ecological and creative optimisation of settlement areas and the landscape shaped by man and, associated with this, the promotion of sustainable development to safeguard our natural foundations of life.
Another focus of the office is the development and testing of new planning methods (several pilot projects), the development of integrated overall concepts within the framework of well-established working groups, as well as the supervision and moderation of complex planning tasks.

The active participation of the office members in numerous professional bodies, professional organizations and representations forms an important basis for continuous training and influence on the design of specialized development processes.

Through project-related cooperation with individuals and offices of other disciplines (including urban planning, architecture, water management, civil engineering, transport, agricultural planning, recreation planning) are able to offer a comprehensive range of services for complex planning tasks with the inclusion of in-depth expertise.

The spatial focus of the office's activities lies in Rhineland-Palatinate and neighbouring regions. In Luxembourg, the Ministère des Classes moyennes et du Tourisme as well as the Ministère de l'Environnement have granted us the right to submit plans. Within the framework of the planner network "LUNET" we cooperate with partners in Benelux, France and Great Britain.
