The further development of our living environment is a complex planning task. At bhmp, we therefore deliberately work in interdisciplinary teams with committed employees from different specialist disciplines. This enables us to examine issues from multiple perspectives and develop holistic solutions.
Intensive dialog with our clients is a central element of our corporate culture. Together with our clients, we develop tailor-made solutions for a wide range of tasks that go far beyond conventional solutions. To this end, we bring our teams together to form well-coordinated, interdisciplinary working groups. This enables us to offer differentiated solutions for complex tasks at the various planning levels. The central basis is a broadly diversified and high level of knowledge, which we ensure through extensive employee qualifications, ongoing quality assurance and further training and can prove through teaching activities and publications. We also take on special tasks: We successfully carry out overarching analyses, expert opinions and project management as well as public participation procedures. In addition to pure specialist planning, we can also take on responsibility for advising local authorities and companies as well as project support.
Our work is characterized by good craftsmanship and the appropriateness of the solution for the location and the context of the task. Reliability is a matter of course for us when it comes to planning and implementation. This is another reason why we can look back on numerous, long-standing and trusting collaborations with our commercial and municipal clients.
For us, landscape architecture means taking responsibility for the social space and the environment of the city beyond the actual design. We want to develop distinctive spaces with a special atmosphere and identity from the special qualities of the location, offering people orientation and robust usage options. We aim to create diverse and long-lasting open spaces that offer sensory stimulation, quality of stay and ecological value through intelligent designs, materials and permanent vegetation. They should serve as meeting places for all social groups, be sustainable and easy to maintain, and be able to grow and age with dignity. We aim to master all technical areas from earthworks to water and maintenance management - from the preliminary planning to the details - with a high level of technical precision and design standards and to implement them to a high standard.
We understand the discipline of landscape planning as practice-oriented and sustainable landscape development. Watercourse restoration, the development of compensation areas, species monitoring or the creation of new meadow areas are just a small part of our multifaceted field of activity. The development of endangered habitat types such as wetlands and reed meadows is particularly important to us. The complex interrelationships of these diverse ecotopes require experience, knowledge and empathy. We research the potential for site-appropriate vegetation development, accompany and support with appropriate seeding concepts and also take on extensive maintenance management with specially planned grazing intensity and composition.
The nature-based approach is also a valuable synergy effect in urban planning work, as climate compensation and renaturation measures have become a demanding future task for many local authorities. With our multidisciplinary approach and experience in landscape and open space planning, we are also ideally positioned here. In addition, modern cities want to be developed through democratic conventions and a culture of participation. We have many years of experience in supporting municipal procedures and are also very familiar with the administrative and approval processes.
