We are networked with people and institutions whose work contributes to ecological urban development, environmentally compatible and energy-optimized architecture and artistically enriched environments. Out of this collaboration, exciting and sometimes surprising ideas, concepts and projects emerge again and again.

The focus of our twenty years of activity lies in the design of urban open spaces and urban landscapes. Realized projects are large-scale master plans, cross-border park landscapes and public urban spaces, such as inner-city squares, pedestrian zones and recreational areas. The design of the residential environment as a communally used open space has occupied us for a long time in various forms - from the valorisation of existing workers' housing estates during the International Building Exhibition Emscher Park, to the neighbourhood-used courtyards of current housing group projects, to our own private gardens.

Our aim is always to understand a project in its entirety. It is important to us to develop a basic planning idea together with the later users. No matter whether it is the redesign of the central market place or the new play area on a school playground - joint action, discussion and search for the best solution are the foundation for later acceptance and sustainable use. This process also always leads to very individual solutions in which high design quality, the special features of the location and the associated usage requirements are found in a balanced way.

The experience gained from the large number and variety of projects realized gives us the security of being able to implement demanding ideas with our clients in the future as well, both economically and in terms of construction technology.
