studio kunst und landschaft is a small open space planning office based in Hude near Oldenburg.

The visual artist Insa Winkler took over the landscape planning office of her father Joachim Winkler - a well-known garden and landscape architect - in 2010.

Together with freelancers, we work on public open spaces that accompany buildings [e.g. LAVES Oldenburg, Jadehochschule Wilhelmshaven, St. Marienkrankenhaus Friesoythe]. In addition, we develop artistic objects for public open spaces - art in public space.

We also work in a curatorial sense on temporary public artistic landscape projects, as well as on environmental education projects in rural areas.
The office owner Dr. phil. Insa Winkler honed her planning skills in a Master's degree course in "Architecture and Environment" at the University of Wismar. In particular, she deepened her knowledge of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary "overall ecological concepts". In this way, she has been developing her creativity and insights into open space planning for a long time and has devoted herself intensively to the visual arts and land art.

Since 2003, Insa Winkler has also been leading artistic transformation processes on current and controversial environmental issues. To this end, she has coined the research and art term "Social Landart" since 1999. She is also active in teaching (Leuphana University of Lüneburg 2017 -2019).
