The planning office has existed since 1984 (until 2002 under the name Bielefeld Gillich, since 1.1.2010 as a GmbH) and works on the entire spectrum of environmental and open space planning from environmental impact studies to landscape planning and maintenance and development plans to object planning.

We combine professional expertise and personal, trusting cooperation with our private and public clients and the relevant authorities.

The aim of our planning work is the ecological and creative optimization of settlement areas and the landscape shaped by man and, in connection with this, the promotion of sustainable development to safeguard our natural resources.
Another focus of the office is the development and testing of new planning methods (several pilot projects), the development of integrated overall concepts within the framework of well-established working groups as well as the supervision and moderation of complex planning tasks.

The active participation of office members in numerous specialist committees, professional organizations and representative bodies forms an important basis for continuous further training and influence on the design of specialist development processes.

Through project-related cooperation with individuals and offices from other specialist disciplines (including urban planning, architecture, water management, civil engineering, transport, agricultural planning, recreation planning), we are able to offer a comprehensive range of services for complex planning tasks, incorporating in-depth specialist knowledge.

The geographical focus of the office's activities lies in Rhineland-Palatinate and neighboring regions. In Luxembourg, we are authorized to submit plans due to recognition by the Ministère des Classes moyennes et du Tourisme and the Ministère de l'Environnement. As part of the "LUNET" planning network, we cooperate with partners in Benelux, France and Great Britain.
