creative self-image
Design interventions serve to enrich the spatial quality of the environment. They combine the functional with the contemplative, the ordinary with the special. They create spaces that are characteristic and tangible on the one hand, and offer a variety of possibilities for experience and appropriation on the other.
Our design ideas are developed with reference to the respective context. To this end, we try to use creative means as cautiously and purposefully as possible.
Interactions
We believe that landscape architecture, urban planning and architecture are mutually dependent and complementary. We see them as equal conceptual components.
Contexts away from the historic center
Away from the historic city center, open spaces are often part of a puzzle of fields with a wide variety of characteristics and uses: Allotment gardens, brownfield sites, infrastructure routes, settlement islands, ... The main spatial characteristics of these fields include a weakly developed relationship to each other and the formation of less permeable boundaries.
Landscape architectural interventions can be used here to organize and clarify. They allow contextual characteristics to be specified and strengthened. This includes the addition of spatial fragments and the qualification of boundaries.
Profile
Our work focuses on the design and planning of public open spaces at all scales. This includes parks, green corridors, city squares and urban development concepts.
The office provides planning services in the fields of landscape architecture, urban planning and architecture and regularly takes part in competitions.
