The office was founded in 1990 and can look back on many years of planning and construction experience: knowledge that is reflected in the employees, in the technical solutions and planning approaches or in our contacts with companies and partners. Following the unplanned handover from Peter Schmidt-Seifert († October 2017) to Philip Winkelmeier as the new owner, the focus was on the smooth continuation of all ongoing projects and construction sites as well as the administrative transfer. The handover has been completed and the trusting relationship with our clients has been maintained and further developed through follow-up orders. We have also been able to acquire new tasks and clients.
Together in a team of 4 landscape architects, we plan public parks, town squares and open spaces in Berlin and Brandenburg and support private clients in the design of residential environments. These objects are often garden monuments and we guide them sensitively and expertly through the coordination process to realization. Examples include the Bethanien open spaces (completion of the 5th construction phase in 2019), the market square and church forecourt in Friedrichshagen as well as the restoration of the Siemensstadt and Weiße Stadt world heritage sites and the outdoor areas of the Berlin Natural History Museum.
The office's focus on listed buildings is currently being supplemented by a new focus on ecologically sustainable projects. We want to advise our clients optimally with regard to climate change and contemporary ecological scope for action. Our self-image is that landscape architects with expertise in the areas of "green" and "blue" have a decisive role to play in the overall social task of designing and developing the functional preservation of our living space. We want to play this role responsibly in every project, from planning to realization.
