This house garden is significantly characterized by its steep slope. The basic design concept is essentially based on organic forms that blend into the topographical situation of the plot by means of several curved retaining walls. The gardens combine sophisticated design with practical usability. In accordance with the client's wishes, the garden is divided into the lower, intensively designed garden area and the upper, more park-like garden area with curved paths and a stream. With several retaining walls of different designs and dimensions, ornamental walls, flights of steps, paved areas and pergolas as well as the seating island in the garden pond, the garden incorporates a variety of sophisticated small-scale garden and landscape design elements. The more than 150 plant species used include ornamental shrubs and decorative perennials as well as water plants, bulbous plants and plants for dry stone walls, stone beds and green roofs.
