The prestigious house was built in 1910 and is now a listed building. The garden was redesigned with the renovation, the addition of an extension and the relocation of the main entrance. It is divided into five areas, which are all laid out on different levels. The roof terrace adjacent to the kitchen and dining area is characterized by a spacious dining area and tiered privacy planting in raised beds. Pebbled seating and planters create an informal atmosphere. Two steps lead up to the terrace in front of the library, which, like the main terrace, is furnished with large, handmade planters. The exit to the garden via the stairs leads to the lawn area, which has a spacious feel thanks to the sloping layout of the plot. An old bluestone fountain is positioned at the end of the lawn as a focal point. A curved path leads from there around the building to the entrance area. Here, stately rhododendrons line the spacious staircase. In the opposite direction, the lawn leads to the courtyard and the garage entrance. A solitary pine tree is integrated into the paved area. Behind low dolomite walls, rhododendrons form an early summer focal point. The roadside greenery with stately lime and chestnut trees creates a park-like atmosphere.

As part of the Gardens of the Year 2019 competition, this garden was named one of the 50 most beautiful private gardens of 2019.
