The building, which was divided into primary, secondary and intermediate schools, was completely renovated due to the restructuring of the school. In this context, the outdoor facilities were redesigned by gutschker-dongus.

In the place of the previous bus stop area, the schoolyard of the primary school was newly created on an area of 2,400 m². In addition to a purely structural change, the child-friendly and safe schoolyard design had the highest priority. The schoolyard offers children the opportunity to act out their energy and their urge to move in order to avoid quarrels and fights. For this reason, the primary school playground was designed to encourage movement and communication. Various playground equipment, including a play tower and ship, nest swing, table tennis table and a mini football pitch were placed in the schoolyard. A green classroom and various seating options (benches, seating stones, seating mounds and boulders) provide space for recreation. The valuable tree population was largely preserved and new trees were planted to provide additional shade. Additional plants were planted on the one hand to create a green and natural atmosphere and on the other hand to serve as privacy screens. Since the lawn can only withstand the high pressure of use to a limited extent, further areas were constructed with surfaces of paving, lawn joint paving, wood chips, tartan plastic and asphalt. The schoolyard, with its prestigious character, also serves as a connection to the new main entrance of the elementary school. The design contributes to an inviting atmosphere and increases the identification of students, teachers, parents and citizens with the school.

As the bus stop area was reconstructed and redesigned to become the elementary school courtyard, a new bus turnaround area had to be created. The new bus turnaround area to be constructed with bus stops in a saw-tooth configuration and parking for parents and teachers, as well as a kiss
