The CULTURAL LANDSCAPE MAP Bad Liebenstein would like to bring the numerous features and traditions of the town of Bad Liebenstein and its old cultural landscape for the first time in its entirety
to its citizens and guests closer.
The historical roots of the villages, castles and parks can be traced back in part to the early Middle Ages. A great diversity of cultural landscapes is revealed to visitors, ranging from evidence of historical land and soil use to architectural monuments worthy of protection and particularly attractive vantage points.
The map would like to invite you to get to know this cultural landscape by bike or on foot, but especially on the circular hiking trails newly designed for the map.
The graphics of the map were created from the eyes and with the artistic expressiveness of the children of the local children and youth art school.
The map was developed under the leadership of stock- landscape architects in AG with office Rimbachplan, Bad Liebenstein as part of the integrated urban planning overall concept (ISEK) Bad Liebenstein 2016 in AG with urban planning office Dr. Wilke, Erfurt.
