Client: City of Burg
The State Horticultural Show Burg 2018 stages the historic city centre and the surrounding urban space through landscape architectural interventions. The existing historic parks Goethepark and Flickschupark will be renovated and enriched with new uses. The striking topography of the vineyard, the presumed origin of Burg, is staged by terracing and staircases. The Ihlegärten are based on the motif of the plot garden. The small contours of the former buildings are represented by hedges.
