The aim of the open space planning was to merge the new outdoor facilities with the new building and the historic buildings and existing trees into one unit. The generous rural character with a restriction to a few concise design elements was the focus of the planning considerations. In the change of the seasons, residents, staff and visitors can experience the special quality of the place, which promotes encounter and community.
