As the first measure of the "Economic Forum for Visual Arts in the Region", the installation "Adventure Realm for Young and Old" was implemented in the municipality of Breitenberg. In the context of new buildings as well as renovations, regional artists with their works should be increasingly integrated into the implementation.

Since the Breitenberger bathing pond has suffered for years from a massive algae formation due to strong nutrient inputs from the surrounding agricultural use and the leaf fall of the numerous birch trees in the border area, it was decided to rehabilitate the pond from scratch with financial resources from the Leader project of the EU.
By large buffer and regeneration areas, as well as the clearing of some birch trees, the entries were mitigated and by a thorough desedimentation of the organic matter and gravel layer accumulated for years removed and replaced by new filter substrate. The water now runs first into two planted basins and finally seeps through gravel banks into the bathing pond proper.

The existing tree population was largely integrated. Towards the road in the north, the evergreen trees were thinned out and supplemented and replaced by natural shrubs. The preclarification zone was inoculated with site-appropriate marsh plants. In the meantime, succession has ensured a dense plant cover.
