Between 1998 and 2001, a spacious park with patient gardens was planned for the St. Elisabeth Hospital in Leipzig.
The existing park was enlarged by approx. 3ha due to the expansion of the hospital. A master plan was drawn up for the new park area and measures were implemented in some areas. Thus, for example, a large patient garden was created, which is dedicated to the theme of traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, open spaces were planned for a company kindergarten and a nursing school.
