The Leser GmbH property is located in the heart of Hammerbrook, a district that was considered a purely commercial area for a long time after the war. In recent years, however, the district has developed into an attractive office location close to the city centre.
With the planned new building, a building is being created that fits naturally into the urban structure and assigns clear zones in the open space to which specific uses are assigned. While the south and east sides of the building are exclusively reserved for open spaces for deliveries and parking spaces, a large inner courtyard is planned for the north side, which is intended to serve solely as an attractive outdoor recreation and lounge area for employees and can also be used for smaller and larger parties. The opening of the courtyard to the adjacent canal gives the site its special quality and invites a clear relationship to the water and makes the wet element tangible.
