As the third facility of now 5 fitness facilities with a focus on seniors, this facility was officially put into operation in summer 2014. The facilities, which were built according to a concept developed jointly by the Parks Department of the City of Frankfurt and my office, consist of a targeted selection of equipment. An important feature of the devices is that they only allow guided movements to avoid maldevelopment, and associated disadvantages in the muscular system.

The applied concept was developed in 2009 in collaboration with a physiotherapist. Special devices were selected. Since the market of outdoor fitness equipment is constantly changing, in the course of the project cycles again and again other devices of different manufacturers were used.

Important part of any planning is the inclusion of potential user groups and people who animate as trainers or therapists groups to use the facilities.
