These two adjoining, small private gardens are located in the middle of the government district in the lively outer Neustadt and serve as garden space for the connected, modern apartments on the ground floor. In addition to the small size of the gardens, a particular planning challenge was the location of the gardens to the north and the associated limited light available on the property.
With an elegant, unusual design concept, two lively and modern gardens are created that do justice to private use. A large patio area extends the living space outdoors and provides space for comfortable lounging. Adjacent perennial beds extend from the terrace area in flowing forms around the garden plot. Larger boulders are loosely distributed along the borders of the beds.

An attractively flowering shrub stands opposite the terrace as a counterpoint and defines a second place to stay under the loose crown of trees in the rear garden. Both the exclusively white flowers of the perennials and woody plants as well as the white gneiss boulders and the bed mulch of white granite create an unexpectedly bright garden space illuminated by the reflected sunlight and a cosy, high-quality retreat for taking a deep breath. The alternation of fresh green foliage and dark red-leaved plants also creates an exciting, vibrantly elegant contrast in combination with the wooden storage constructed from rust-red Corten steel and the white minerals.
