Redesign of the Letteallee 74a playground "The colorful square"

As a result of two public on-site and workshop meetings in the neighboring after-school care and family center, the "colorful square" - an attractive playground for children of different age groups - was created on the 1,700 m² site at Letteallee 74a. The colorful plastic hill, equipped with a large climbing net, a trampoline, a long slide, a pole glider and three climbing ropes, is the central attraction and connects the two different height levels in a playful way. While the upper level, with its large romping and ball games area, the rotating carousel and the large double swing, offers plenty of play opportunities for children aged 6 and over, the sheltered area on the lower level is primarily designed for younger children. In addition to the playhouse with a barrier-free wooden platform, there are two small colorful wooden figures in the sandbox for climbing and seesawing. A tepee with sliding and climbing facilities completes the play area. Some new tree plantings provide additional shady areas and, together with several seating areas, create a high-quality place for the accompanying parents and carers to spend time.
