Outdoor facilities HumboldtHafenEins

The concept for the urban design of the Humboldthafen was developed as part of the "Capital Berlin - Parliament and Government District" development project. Public waterfront promenades, accompanied by buildings with arcades, are intended to create high-quality urban spaces. The HumboldtHafenEins building is the first building block to implement this idea. Important elements of the overarching concept are the riverside promenade in the direct vicinity of the arcade, the public passage that crosses the building and the staircase that provides public access directly from the Hugo-Preuß Bridge to the riverside promenade and the arcades. The building and outdoor facilities were awarded the DGNB platinum certificate.
