Design of the entrance and courtyard areas of the apartment buildings of a housing cooperative in Heidenau over several streets.
The entrance areas were newly and colorfully designed after the renovation of the buildings with large-area perennial and woody plantings, partly combined with gravel beds and erratic blocks, edged screen elements and benches.
In the courtyard area, new path connections, laundry areas and fire brigade access roads were created.
Existing trees were integrated into the new design, as well as the old large plates that were used for the new paths.
At all times, plantings were coordinated with the expressive façade colors.
