Arita primary school in Meißen formerly 4th primary school Schoolyard, sports and play facilities, after-school care area and school garden

For the first primary school with sports hall in Meißen to be built after reunification, a robust playground with seating steps and platforms, a cherry tree grove and individual play points, a running track with long jump facility, a small playing field, a naturally designed after-school care area with a large climbing and play landscape, a sun-protected sand play area, a viewing hill and a school garden were created in summer 2019 on a flat sloping lawn.
For the club use of the sports hall, a separate access and a parking lot has been realized.
To the Aritaring opens a spacious forecourt with bicycle racks.
The material and design concept is discreetly oriented to the Japanese design language - a reminiscence of the Japanese twin city Arita, the namesake of the future school address, whose connection with Meissen in the opening year 2019 had 40-year anniversary.
