SCHOOL ROTENHÄUSER DAMM New game on old schoolyard

The extension of the school Rotenhäuser Damm was carried out by a new building for school office and canteen which closes the gap between the historical existing building and the extension from the 1960s to the street. On this new building are representative and infrastructural tasks.

Parts of the schoolyard behind were rebuilt and now combine "chilling" and "movement" according to the wishes of the students. The children wanted playground equipment for resting, more seating and more play areas.

The participation conducted by the teachers and negotiated in plenum with the class representatives resulted in clear votes for teepee, Lümmelbank and seating steps at the back of the auditorium / refectory.
