SPORTANLAGE TEEKOPPEL SV Bergstedt - Conversion of a grand pitch into an artificial pitch

After a long wait, the time had come for SV Bergstedt. In 2016, the starting signal was given for the conversion of the old grand pitch at the Teekoppel sports facility into a modern sand-filled artificial pitch. In addition to the actual pitch surface, the perimeter fence, the ball catching fences, the floodlighting system and the goals were renewed. Both during the planning and the later construction phase, great importance was attached to sustainability. Almost 100% of the surface water from the entire area is channelled into the seepage system via numerous drainage channels. In addition, as much material as possible of the old surface course and base course was to remain on site. For this purpose, a standing tribune was filled in and the surrounding lawns were remodelled. In addition, as much existing paving as possible was reused. The successful final acceptance and handover to SV Bergstedt took place one day before the start of the new football season and promptly resulted in promotion to the district league.
