The conversion and new construction of the Wesselburen Comprehensive School has created a spacious outdoor area, which is divided into a forecourt, a schoolyard, a school garden with a teaching kitchen and a sports facility. The forecourt with its town square-like character forms the transition between rigid architecture and the scenic atmosphere of the internal schoolyard area with school garden. The schoolyard is enchanting with its many play and sports facilities, which invite children to play all kinds of outdoor games not only during recess, but also during physical education lessons thanks to the integration of the sports facility.
