In the Paul-Gerhardt-Allee development area in Pasing/Obermenzing, a new quarter is being created with apartments, shopping facilities, social amenities, services and leisure facilities for approx. 5500 residents. The public green is mainly formed by the generous landscape park along the adjacent Gleistasche in the south and east.
This connects the railway biotopes with each other from an ecological point of view and, on the other hand, via footpaths and cycle paths, the neighbourhood with the adjacent green corridors as well as, on a higher level, Pasing with the city centre.
The terrain modelling along the railway lines creates noise-protected open spaces, varied walking paths and - despite the relatively elongated green space - pleasantly proportioned lounges for playing and meeting places. In addition to smaller seating areas and a vantage point on the new toboggan slope, the neighbourhood square also lends itself as a central meeting place.
