CORNELIUS CHURCH NEUGRABEN-FISCHBEK A place of encounter and contemplation

As part of the Neugraben-Fischbek area development, the exterior of the Cornelius Church was upgraded and redesigned. The ensemble of the Cornelius Church characterises the core of the old Fischbek village. Like the church itself, the surrounding grounds are a place of encounter and contemplation. It invites not only visitors to church events, but all citizens to linger, to talk and to be active. It is a place for recreation, play and gathering, a meeting place and a forum for Fischbek. The different areas of the church forecourt, inner courtyard, old parish garden and oak grove are the design spaces whose attractiveness and usability have been further developed.
