Redesign of the street-side play area according to the pedagogical concept, connection with the play areas on the courtyard side (planned by LA21 and realized in 2015) and various functional areas, including existing equipment.

A continuous roller track made of light-colored asphalt connects the play area on the courtyard side with the new ribbon-shaped play area sequences and ends at the entrance area. Cobblestone thresholds provide the necessary speed reduction in the area of danger spots. A wide variety of play and exercise options are lined up along this path, such as the shady balancing route between shrubs, the sandstone climbing rock, the bird's nest swing, the play hill with various steps and crawl tubes (some of which are from the old stock) as well as a versatile water-sludge-sand construction site and a playing field with an artificial turf surface.

The separating effect of the elevated connecting building disappears with the help of a new staircase with a wide slide, which connects the kindergarten groups.

These offerings form a framework that can be expanded and modified with flexible and mobile additions such as the movement construction site, slackline, ropes and hammock. Existing large trees are carefully integrated, hiding places are made accessible, views are made possible and free spaces are left open for creative appropriation and design.
