Open spaces residential complex Friedensbergterrasse Jena

The design idea is a modern, sustainable open space concept for residents of all ages. Taking into account the topography, the site is terraced along the existing height gradation and features zones of varying privacy.
The "heart" of the Friedensberg Terraces is the largely car-free Anger as a meeting place for residents and as a pedestrian access axis. From the Anger, one reaches the apartments via the semi-public development courtyards, each of which is assigned private garden areas on the ground floor. All garden courtyards also have direct access from the public open space, which, however, is only accessible to the garden users.
