Nepal is a historically rich and beautiful country in South Asia and has been rapidly developing and modernizing with the goal of leaving the United Nations' "Least Developing Countries" category by 2022. In 2015, Nepal was hit by a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that left many parts of the country in ruins. The introduction of a new social infrastructure in Nepal is another crucial step for the reconstruction and development of the country. We want to be part of this progress with the latest skate-aid skatepark and sports education program.

After supporting our local partner "Yuwa for Change" with skateboard hardware for several years, we are happy to take this collaboration one step further. Together we will launch "skate-aid Nepal" and start our new project in the city of Butwal in Nepal. We want to build a skate park to empower the kids in Nepal through our educational skateboard workshops. Among other things, they will learn to get up again and again after falling down and can thus develop into strong personalities. It will also act as a "community center" with a positive environment and be a place the kids can be proud of!

The official opening took place on 05.03.2022. Among those present were Titus Dittmann, Maik Giersch, Tobias Egelkamp, Jagrit Pahadi Province Govenor Mr. Amik Serchan, Vice Mayor Mrs. Jageshowri Chaudaury Tillotama, Municipality Mayor Mr. Basudev Ghimire and Province Minister Mr. Lila Giri.
