The playground is located on Else Lasker Schüler Street. It is named after an avant-garde poet and illustrator (1869 to 1945) who was known for her tolerance and inventiveness, and whose stories were set in dream worlds.

Inspired by her poems, a modern, abstract fantasy world is to be created that challenges creativity and leaves each visitor free to invent new stories themselves. Unifying elements are colorful, elliptical shapes that make the playground an individual and artistic place.

The game ellipses are intended to create new, innovative offerings that present a special athletic challenge. They are modeled on competition courses like Ninja Warrior, which are popular with children and young people.
